Beatuful live oak trees - some hundreds of years old - with yards of Spanish Moss floating down from them. Stayed at a lovely golf resort - http://wwwSeaPalmsresort.com= bus to take us around - Jekyll island -the former homes of the famous and rich during the late 1800's = the Newport, Saratoga and NYC and Pittsburgh millionaires - before the Florida resorts opened up - St Simon island and Fort Frederica and all the history there - the lighthouse histories - amazing. Small group - 16 = mostly retired teachers - all interesting and interested ...makes for a very pleasant and interesting group. Plus the great naturalist that accompanied us on our trips -
